The Delray Beach have fallen to the Pompano Beach Clippers 3-5 in the 2015 SFCBL semi final game at Miller Park in Delray Beach.  Jon Avallone (Umass) led the way for the Clippers who are ranked 34th nationally.  At the plate, Jon went 2 for 3 with an RBI and run scored.  Max Balter (Broward College) also added a hit and RBI for the Clippers.  On the mound Nate McMaster (Westminster) got the win throwing 4 innings, giving up no runs and striking out two batters.

For the Lightning, Christian Garabedian (Maine) went 2 for 4 with a run scored  and Chris Grupp (Fairleigh Dickinson) added a double.  On the mound Patrick Hueller (Rollins) took the loss as he only lasted 1.1 innings.  Pedro Rodriguez (Seminole State) threw 2.2 innings and struck out 3 batters.

The Clippers will move on to the 2015 SFCBL Championship Series against the Palm Beach Xtreme and looks to be a series full of future MLB Draft picks and excellent baseball.
