The Palm Beach Xtreme had no answer for Austin Edwards (MidAmerica Nazarene University) , who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Palm Beach Xtreme managed just one hit off of Edwards, who allowed no earned runs, and struck out five during his two innings of work.

Erik Bauer improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Boca Raton Lightning. Bauer struck out two, walked two and gave up no hits.
