Impact Sports Performance Partners with the Lightning

The South Florida Collegiate Baseball League has teamed up with Impact Sports Performance to provide elite training to players in the Delray Beach Lightning, Boca Raton Blazers and West Boca Snappers organizations.  Impact Sports Performance, which was founded in 2011 is a sport specific performance training facility based in Boca Raton, Florida.  Elite professional and collegiate athletes from around the country travel to Boca Raton to train at Impact during their off seasons to work with the nationally renowned performance staff.  The 8,000 square foot facility includes a 55 yard laser timed 3 lane track, a 12 yard by 12 yard artificial grass agility grid and a state of the art weight room including a one of a kind Vibeplate, Keiser functional trainers and UCS Olympic equipment.  “We are giving an experience to our players that is second to none.  Our goal is to make our players better when they leave the SFCBL and we truly bring that minor league experience to the collegiate level”, said SFCBL President Vince Farfaglia.  Players will be trained several times a week in the mornings and focus on overall athletic performance, injury prevention and functional movement.  “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to work with players in the South Florida Collegiate Baseball League.  We are going to give them an experience and tools that they can utilize to improve their overall performance and athleticism”, said Brandon Zeeb of Impact Sports Performance.
