2016 SFCBL All-Star Game Round Up

The 2016 South Florida Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game will be held on Sunday June 17th at Florida Atlantic University at 2PM. The North Division All-Stars will take batting practice starting at 1130AM in the stadium and the South Division will follow. There will be plenty of raffles and give-a-ways during the game for fans in attendance and rosters/programs will be provided at the gate. The Florida Atlantic baseball stadium is also pet friendly down the left field berm. All SFCBL players will be free of admission. The North Division All-Stars are led by Tyler Schwanz (University of Maine) of the Delray Beach Lightning who has a hot bat and is currently leading the SFCBL with .467 average, 3rd in HR's with 6 and 4th in RBI's with 21. Currently in the SFCBL there are only 2 players hitting over the .400 mark with the other being Francisco Rodriguez (Kesier University) who is hitting .400 even.

On the mound Michael Koltak (Georgetown) of the Boca Raton Blazers is leading the SFCBL in wins with 5 and strikeouts with 46. The North Division will also feature several other power arms such as Brady Acker (Univ. of New Orleans), Kesiy Portorreal (Clarendon JC), Jonathan Herndon (Indian River JC) and Anthony Delaney (Univ. of North Florida) who will regularly reach fastball velocities of 90+ MPH.
